Emmer Jane Vintage
Emmer Jane Vintage is an inner-city boutique in Minneapolis founded by Lena Y. Morrison, an African American mother of two. She has been employed as a store manager in a mall. Morrison has now started her own business in fashionable apparel directed to young women. She also maintains a blog which is about a positive self-image for young black females and others aspiring to be attractive. This is a contemporary and quite amazing example of American identity.
A link to Morrison's blog is located at http://emmerjane.blogspot.com/. A link to her e-magazine is found at Sheahthemagazine.com.
A unique aspect of this boutique is its fashion drowz.
News flash: Emmer Jane Vintage has just been invited to take over floor space in a small shopping mall in Stillwater, Minnesota, an upscale community along the St. Croix river near Wisconsin. Political afficinados know Stillwater as the city where the state of Minnesota was organized in the 1850s and, currently, the home of U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, a leading contender for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination. Emmer Jane Vintage would have the middle store in this cluster.
